Professional Experience:
Gary joined Lonergan & Thomas in 1990 and is the 3rd generation Thomas to work in the agency. Prior to joining the agency, he worked as a real estate paralegal for Witten, Saltonstall & Woolmington, PC. A native of Bennington Gary has served as President of the Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Bennington Downtown Improvement District, President of the Bennington Region Preservation Trust and currently serves as President of the Bennington Park Lawn Cemetery. Gary is also actively involved in the Bennington area youth soccer currently serving on the board of Southshire Youth Soccer League and having coached for 10 years.

Gary and his wife, Amy Barber-Thomas, have six children. He enjoys playing golf, home improvement projects and spending time with his family.

Sharon joined Lonergan & Thomas in 2005 as their receptionist. Prior to working for Lonergan and Thomas, she worked for a Credit Union in Saratoga Springs NY, and a local car dealership. Â

Sharon has 2 children and 9 grandchildren. She and her husband Jerry live in Shaftsbury with their cat and 4 dogs. She loves spending time with their family and friends, baking, reading and watching the sunsets from her front porch. She also enjoys going to Indian Lake NY, and Maine whenever she and Jerry can.Â
